Welcome reception

The BTechPro2026 Conference was part of the 80th Anniversary of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry event series, therefore the Welcome reception on May 6 wias held at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry, and the conference participants were welcome to attend the Pilot-Scale Hangar event "Technology Transfer & Cooperation"!

Best Scientific Picture Contest

The participants of the BTechPro! conference are encouraged to submit their science related artwork – be it a photo, drawing, fancy graph or any other creative picture. The submitted science pictures (Sci-Pi) are displayed at the conference venue for all attendees to vote for their favourite one.

Four wonderful artworks were submitted for the contest during the BTechPro2026 conference, and the Sci-Pi Award went to Jie Li and Rūta Vicisnak for their pictures "Shh... It's science" and "Do not disturb, Reaction in progress!", respectively.
