Welcome reception
We are pleased to announce that the BTechPro2026 Conference will be part of the 80th Anniversary of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry event series, therefore the Welcome reception on May 6 will be held at the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry, and the conference participants are welcome to attend the Pilot-Scale Hangar event "Technology Transfer & Cooperation"!

Conference Dinner
Participants of BTechPro2026 are welcome to attend the Conference Dinner on May 7 in Sigulda, after streching their legs on a fun guided tour around Sigulda!
The tour will start at the conference venue Hotel Sigulda, and after a visit to the Sigulda New Palace and Livonian Catsle return to the culture centre "Siguldas Devons", where the conference dinner will be held.

Best Scientific Picture Contest
The participants of the BTechPro! conference are encouraged to submit their science related artwork – be it a photo, drawing, fancy graph or any other creative picture. The submitted scientific pictures (Sci-Pi) will be displayed at the conference venue for all attendees to vote for their favourite one. The deadline to submit a picture with a short description is 25th April, 2026. Submit your artwork by e-mail to btechpro@kki.lv
Six wonderful artworks were submitted for the contest during the BTechPro2024 conference, and the Sci-Pi Award went to Sharib Khan for his picture "Lignin inside and outside of the Wood"
